guys ... today is our first day of practice in the first week after the mid or
you can say this is the fifth week of practice. Today isn not to much work.
When i came in the kitchen. It is necessary to wait for a considerable amount
of time long enough before the activity starts. And even thought we don't
practice or do it right away. But first, our lecturer sir.wawan gave the
material about the art of food decoration. The core of the material he
delivered is, about carving. Carving itself is the art of carving and making a
three-dimensional image of fruits so that it looks more attractive and
beautiful to look at. Usually on display for a big event.
After,
it was time for the boss genk to give a little introductory advice this
morning. At the same time tell about the tasks that will be carried out during
the practice week. The task for today is to make tape from sticky rice and
cassava. Even thought the boss genk doesn't tell us the exact recipe. In
essence, we have to find out by ourselves and read on our own. For the next day
there are 50 pax events which tomorrow will be prepared and carried out on the
day of the week. And for Thursday, if it's certain. But, this is still in the
plan of inshaAllah on Thursday we will make food to break the fast of the memorizers
of the Qur'an (hafiz).
For
this day we immediately read and looked for references on how to make good and
true anti-fail tape. For us personally (my group) besides reading references on
the internet. We also call our aunt each who has experience in making tape. And
after that we immediately made tape. The steps that we do are:
1.
Wash glutinous rice as clean as possible and ensure that the containers used
are clean and avoid bacteria, butter or oils that are available. With a comparison
of 1: 1 white and black glutinous rice.

Soak the rice for about 3 hours, then wash it again thoroughly. Then steam
until cooked. During steaming occasionally splashed water so that glutinous
rice does not dry during the steam process.

After that, cool the glutinous rice in a horizontal container and give yeast
according to the amount and mix again until smooth.
