11 & 12 Weeks

1.      Cutting Board
A cutting board is a durable board on which to place material for cutting. The kitchen cutting board is commonly used in preparing food.
Other types exist for cutting raw materials
such as leather or plastic. Kitchen cutting boards are often made of wood or plastic and come invarious widths and sizes. There are also cutting boards made of glass, steel, or marble, which are easier to clean than wooden or plastic ones such as nylon or corian, but tend to damage knives due to their hardness.

2.      Proofing Machine
Proofing (also called proving or more
rarely blooming), as the term is used by
bakers, is the final rise of shaped bread
dough before baking. It refers to a
specific rest period within the more
generalized process known as
fermentation. Fermentation is a step in
creating yeast breads and baked goods
where the yeast is allowed to leaven the
dough.

3.      Scoop Ice Cream
An ice cream scoop is a kitchen utensil which is used to serve ice cream, although it can also be used to handle other thick substances such as cookie dough. The thick construction of the scoop allows it to hold up when it is used with heavy, stiff materials, and it will not bend or break like ordinary scoops and spoons. Many kitchen supply stores sell these utensils, often in a variety of sizes and styles. While not a vitally necessary kitchen tool unless you eat a lot of ice cream, an ice cream scoop can certainly be useful to have around.

1.      Rubber Spatula
A spatula is "a broad, flat, flexible blade
used to mix, spread and lift material. One variety is used to lift and flip food items during cooking, such as pancakes and fillets. The blade on these are usually made of metal or plastic, with a wooden or plastic handle to insulate them from heat. A cookie shovel is a specialty spatula with a larger blade, made for scooping cookies off their pan.

2.      Measuring jug
A measuring cup or measuring jug is a kitchen utensil used primarily to measure the volume of liquid or bulk solid cooking ingredients such as flour and sugar, especially for volumes from about 50 mL (2 fl oz) upwards. Measuring jug may be made of plastic, glass, or metal.

3.      Cooling Rack

A cooling rack (also known simply as a wire rack) is used to allow air to circulate freely to cool baked goods, and to prevent them getting soggy from condensation. A tight grid is typically the best format for a cooling rack, to prevent thin baked goods from breaking or falling through.

Bread Knife

A Bread Knife is a longish knife with a serrated (or "scalloped") cutting edge.
Bread knives are used for cutting bread and are one of many kitchen knives used by chefs. The serrated blades of bread knives are able to cut soft bread without crushing it.

     2.   Scissor

Scissors are hand-operated shearing tools. They consist of a pair of metal blades pivoted so that the sharpened edges slide against each other when the handles (bows) opposite to the pivot are closed.  Usually used for cutting anything like paper, plastic and others.

       3.

Stove
A kitchen stove, often called simply a stove or a cooker, is a kitchen appliance designed for the purpose of cooking food. Kitchen stoves rely on the application of direct heat for the cooking process and may also contain an oven, used for baking.

Rolling Pin

A rolling pin is a cylindrical food preparation utensil used to shape and flatten dough.
 *Types Of Rolling Pin :
a.  Rod: Thin rods typically made of wood around 2–3 cm in diameter. They are used by rolling the rod across the dough using one's palm.
b.  Roller: Consists of a thick heavy roller made of a variety of materials around 7–10 cm in diameter with thinner handles which extend through the roller.
c. Textured: Some specialized rolling pins have textured surfaces that mark and indents the dough surfaces for special breads and pancakes.
Rolling pins is a variety of sizes, shapes and materials including glass, ceramic, acrylic, bakelite, copper, brass, aluminium, silicone, wood, stainless steel, marble, and plastic. Some are hollow and are able to be filled with cold or warm water to better roll a desired food. Marble rolling pins are often cooled in a refrigerator for maintaining a cold dough while making puff pastry.

                                                          Dought scrapers

A scraper is a kitchen implement made of metal  plastics (such as polyethylene, nylon, or polypropylene) woodrubber or silicone rubber.
Dough scrapers, or pastry scrapers, are more rigid implements, often made of a metal rectangle with a wooden, plastic, or metal handle running along one long edge not only for more comfortable grip, but also to add rigidity.
This  is used to manipulate raw dough, by scraping it from a surface on which it has been rolled, as well as to slice it.

 Grater

A grater (also known as a shredder) is a kitchen utensil used to grate foods into fine pieces. It was invented by François Boullier in the 1540s.
Several types of graters feature different sizes of grating slots, and can therefore aid in the preparation of a variety of foods. They are commonly used to grate cheese and lemon or orange peel (to create zest), and can also be used to grate other soft foods. They are commonly used in the preparation of toasted cheese, Welsh rarebit, and dishes which contain cheese sauce such as macaroni and cheese, cauliflower cheese.

a.   Knife

A kitchen knife is any knife that is intended to be used in food preparation. knife is used for cutting food. Kitchen knives can be made from several different materials :

1.      Carbon steel is an alloy of iron and carbon, often including other elements such as vanadium and manganese. Carbon steel commonly used in knives has around 1.0% carbon (ex. AISI 1095), is inexpensive, and holds its edge well. Carbon steel is normally easier to resharpen than most stainless steels, but is vulnerable to rust and stains.
2.      Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, approximately 10–15% chromium, possibly nickel, and molybdenum, with only a small amount of carbon. Typical stainless steel knives are made of 420 stainless, a high-chromium, low-end stainless steel alloy often used in flatware.
3.                 High carbon stainless steel normally refers to higher-grade, stainless steel alloys with a certain amount of carbon, and is intended to combine the best attributes of carbon steel and ordinary stainless steel.
4.                  Laminated blades combine the advantages of a hard, but brittle steel which will hold a good edge but is easily chipped and damaged, with a tougher steel less susceptible to damage and chipping, but incapable of taking a good edge.
5.                Titanium is lighter and more wear-resistant, but not the hardest metal in the world. However it is more flexible than steel. Titanium does not impart any flavour to food. It is typically expensive and not well suited to cutlery.
6.                Ceramic knives are very hard, made from zirconium dioxide, and retain their sharp edge for a long time, are light in weight, do not impart any taste to food and do not corrode. Suitable for slicing fruit, vegetables and boneless meat. Ceramic knives are best used as a specialist kitchen utensil. Recent manufacturing improvements have made them less brittle.
7.               Plastic blades are usually not very sharp and are mainly used to cut through vegetables without causing discolouration. They are not sharp enough to cut deeply into flesh, but can cut or scratch skin.
a.   Hammer meat

A meat tenderizer, meat mallet, or meat pounder
is a hand-powered tool used to tenderize slabs of

meat in preparation for cooking. Although a meat
tenderizer can be made out of virtually any object,
there are three types manufactured specifically
for tenderizing meat.
1.    most common, is a tool that resembles a hammer or
mallet made of metal or wood with a short handle
and dual heads. One face of the tool is usually flat
while the other has rows of pyramid-shaped
tenderizers.
2.   form resembles a potato masher with a short handle
and a large metal face that is either smooth or
adorned with the same pyramid-shaped tenderizers
as found in the first form.
3.   blade tenderizer that has a series of blades or nails
4. that are designed to puncture the meat and cut into the fibers of the muscle.
Tenderizing meat with the mallet softens the fibers, making the meat easier to chew and to digest. It is useful when preparing particularly tough cuts of steak, and works well when.

a.   digital Scale

serves to measure or weigh how much material
will be used in the cooking process
the reason why we must use scale when we
want to cook someone:
The first and foremost reason is of course
precision. Precision is how repeatable a
measurement is. For example, if we measured a
cup of all-purpose flour in a 1 cup (8 ounces)
dry measuring cup, we expect the mass of the
flour to be 125 grams. Assuming that the dry
easuring cup is constructed to strict standards,
the cup is accurate but not precise. Every time
flour is measured, it is a bit more or a bit less
than 125 . The precision of the scale is
dependent on how easy it is to read the scale.
In baking, using a scale to measure all the ingredients will ensure that you are following the recipe correctly (at least in terms of the proportions of ingredients). Using measuring cups could result in having a little more flour than leavening, etc.

bowl

this is a BOWL. A bowl is a round, open-top container used in many cultures to serve hot and cold food. Bowls are typically small and shallow, as in the case of bowls used for single servings of soup or cereal. Some bowls, such as punch bowls, serving bowls, fruit bowls and salad bowls are larger and often intended to serve many people.

Modern bowls can be made of  Ceramic, metal, wood, plastic and other materials. Their appearance can range from very simple designs of a single color to designs sophisticated artwork.  Bowls have existed for thousands of years. Very early bowls have been found in China, Ancient Greece, crete  and in certain Native American cultures.

piping bag
A pastry bag (or piping bag in the Commonwealth) is an often cone- or triangular-shaped, hand-held bag made from cloth, paper, or plastic that is used to pipe semi-solid foods by pressing them through a narrow opening at one end, for many purposes including cake decoration. It is filled through a wider opening at the opposite end, rolled or twisted closed, and then squeezed to extrude its contents.

Aside from icing, pastry bags are commonly used to shape meringue and whipped cream, and to fill doughnuts with jelly or custard. They are used to form cream puffs, éclairs, and ladyfingers. When presentation is especially important, fluted tips can be used to shape savory foods such as filling for deviled eggs, whipped butter, and mashed potatoes (especially for Pommes duchesse).

A high-quality reusable bag is often made from tightly woven nylon, polyester, rubber or waterproofed (plastic-coated) cotton. Medium quality bags are similar, except they are not so tightly woven and may let some contents seep through the weave or the seams. After use, a reusable bag is washed by hand and hung open to dry. A high-quality bag may last for many years.

Pudding Glass
This is pudding glass is made from glasses. However, some are made of heat resistant plastic. This pudding glass serves as a pudding container that has been made with the appropriate portion and also makes the pudding look better and interesting.
If made of plastic is usually used to print the pudding which when still liquid is inserted into the mold. Wait until it cools and has hardened or not melted. Then when removed from the mold the pudding will be shaped exactly like a mold.
