Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu...
Hello
friends... see again in my story practice at kitchen. Today is the first day in
the second week practice. Okay, first, in the morning i week up from my deep
sleepy. In this morning, first someone
from my friends teel us about some ingredients that was usually we use when
practice in the kitchen (presentation). Other than that, today our lecturer
check the work of our project is a sourdough. My sourdough is actually made and
can be use properly. But, maybe i feel pessimistic and i give up first. Im also
frustrated when im think it failed. Apparently not. But, i want to throw it
away again and i make a now one. Today is the fourth day.
After
prsentation, we getting task for make croissant with the same technique. But,
in this time with different recipes. In this time the dough not use butter. So,
we made it. This is a third time trial. After, before that we failed at the
second time and of course we get punishmen. Run around the field.
Besides
making croissant, we get some task to from chef salam for make cake. Nahhh today
there are many kind cake that we want to maked.. Each group makes a different
cake but, stay with the same basic is a basic sponge cake. Today there are
those who make sponge cake, sponge chocolate mandarain, cremex cake, and
classic genoiche.
My
group get job to make classic genoiche. From the shape seems like a sponge cake
and for the taste and texture seems like a sponge cake. But, the different is
there is no baking powder in this dough. As for the technique provided chef
salam. When you make this cake. Dont overdo it and do not to stir for too long
and to hard. So, that the dough does not break.
After
make this cake, next i make filling for the cake. That made from mascarphone
etc seems like cream that usually use in tiramisu cake. For the last step. We make
this cake arranged up to several layers. For the first layer, there is a sponge
cake and than brushed with liquid made from coffe , sugar and little rum. Aftaer that, give tiramisu cream. Then sprinkle
with chocolate grated and give springkle chocolate powder. So on until cake
becomes three layers. For the last, in the outside of the cake give tiramisu
cream again until cover it but do not to
thick. For the ganish we did tomorrow.
For
croissant. Today we are failed again and getting punishment. Run around the
field at six times. Im so tired. Besides being tired, i also felt a great shame
because in the law witnessed by many people. I became curios about
croissant.hmmmmm....
